{"id":234,"date":"2024-06-29T10:19:35","date_gmt":"2024-06-29T08:19:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/distant-dials.eu\/site\/?p=234"},"modified":"2024-06-29T10:19:35","modified_gmt":"2024-06-29T08:19:35","slug":"update-1-2-and-end-of-online-servers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/distant-dials.eu\/site\/?p=234","title":{"rendered":"Update 1.2 and end of online servers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Distant Dials is now available in 1.2 version!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This version provides some bug and trad fixes as well as a better code formatting and file organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main feature introduced is an offline mode allowing to play a truncated (shorter and less difficult) version of the game without a server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This update is of course free and from now on the game itself will be at a cheaper price on both <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/1601520\/Distant_Dials\/\">Steam<\/a> (0,99$) and <a href=\"https:\/\/nomys-tempar.itch.io\/distant-dials\">Itch.io<\/a> (1$).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those who want to host their own server to play online, you can find the source files of the game as well as some instructions on <a href=\"https:\/\/framagit.org\/Nomys_Tempar\/distant_dials\/-\/tree\/master?ref_type=heads\">FramaGit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this update, the game is as complete as it can get and I&#8217;m focusing on my next project (a Godot framework to make multiplayer text-based RPGs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See ya!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Distant Dials is now available in 1.2 version!
